Hethersett Old Hall School
Reviews | News | Alumni School ProfileHethersett Old Hall School is an independent day and boading school for girls aged 4-18 and boys aged 4-11.
We were founded in 1928 and moved to our present site in Hethersett just outside Norwich in 1938. Our main building is a fine early Georgian house set in 16 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds. This and our associated buildings have been modernised and enlarged, boarders have comfortable accommodation and we have a separate Sixth Form house with a common room. Sports and games facilities include an indoor swimming pool, large sports hall, sports fields and tennis courts. A wide range of sports are available, and we offer many extra-curricular activities.
The school is affiliated to the Church of England, but we welcome children of other denominations. Morning assembly usually takes a Christian form and aims to stimulate spirituality as well as develop Christian attitudes and ideals.
As a relatively small school, we pride ourselves on our ability to forge close-knit relationships between our pupils and staff, which gives our school a happy family atmosphere.
