Leeds Girls' High School
Reviews | News | Further Information Leeds Girls' High School is merging with Leeds Grammar School to form The Grammar School at Leeds, a co-educational school for girls and boys aged 3 to 18.
Our nursery and pre-prep, Rose Court, is based in newly renovated facilities in Headingley, North Leeds. From September 2008, our Junior School for girls and boys aged 7 to 11 will be based at Alwoodley Gates, North Leeds, in newly extended and refurbished buildings with superb, dedicated facilities. Our Senior School, also at Alwoodley Gates, teaches boys and girls in separate classrooms, whilst all their social and pastoral activities are mixed. We are currently building a brand new Centre including its own cafeteria, to accommodate the school's newly co-educational Sixth Form where there will be a choice of approximately 30 A Level subjects as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma (subject to IBO authorisation).
Merger is due to complete by September 2008. Open days are publicised on our website at www.gsal.org.uk.
