School Profile

Linkage College is an Ofsted Grade 1 (Feb 2008) Independent Specialist College. Linkage College provides both day and residential further education courses for young adults who have a learning disability or difficulty.

The College has campuses in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire and Toynton all Saints near Spilsby.

High quality residential accommodation (CSCI Registered) is provided in the form of campus and community based, family style homes in which students live and learn. All of our houses are equipped with waking night staff.

Each student follows an individualised timetable made up of vocational courses, independence sessions, language, literacy & numeracy and enrichment such as Art, Sports and Drama.

Students are supported by staff and are encouraged to develop towards adulthood in order to achieve greater independence in preparation for his/her future life.

Students generally come from the local areas as well as from many regions over the UK.
The majority of our students are funded by the Learning and Skills Council.
